1.           What are Chamber Bucks?

            Chamber Bucks are gift certificates, created by the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce to support our chamber members and encourage local shopping.

 

2.           Who can use Chamber Bucks?

            Anyone can purchase Chamber Bucks from the chamber office and will receive a list of places where they can be redeemed.

 

3.           Can Chamber Bucks be replaced if lost or stolen?

          Purchaser assumes sole responsibility for loss, theft or destruction. The Chamber cannot replace certificates that have been lost, destroyed or stolen.

 

4.           Where can Chamber Bucks certificates be used?

            Chamber Bucks can be used to purchase goods and services at any chamber member business displaying the “Chamber Bucks Accepted Here” sign in the window of their establishment. Click here to see the list of participating businesses.

 

5.           Can Chamber Bucks be used at non-chamber member businesses?

          No. Businesses that are not RACC members are not included in the Chamber Bucks program. If a business accepts our “Chamber Bucks” and is not a RACC member, the Chamber Bucks will not be redeemed. This program is to promote RACC members and is an added benefit to our investors.

 

6.           Do Chamber Bucks expire?

            Chamber Bucks do not expire.

 

7.           Can one Chamber Bucks certificate be spent at multiple locations?

          In order to accurately track expenditures, a Chamber Bucks certificate may be redeemed at only one business. The entire amount of the check must be spent at the time of purchase. If need be, the business may issue in-store credit instead of change. A business cannot accept partial credit for a certificate and then return the certificate to the owner to use at a later date or another business.

 

8.           Can Chamber Bucks be “cashed”?

            Chamber Bucks are not redeemable for cash.

 

9.           Are there restrictions on what can be purchased with Chamber Bucks?

            Chamber Bucks cannot be used to purchase alcohol or tobacco products. There is a clause included in the fine print that “Some restrictions may apply” in case individual businesses have some unforeseen condition that we did not anticipate.

 

10.        Where can Chamber Bucks be purchased?

            Chamber Bucks can be purchased in $5, $10 or $20 denominations at the chamber office located at 111 W. Main in Ritzville, during regular business hours.

 

11.        What security features are included on Chamber Bucks so that they are not misused?

          All Chamber Bucks are purchased through the chamber office and will be signed by the chamber administrator at the time of purchase. Each certificate will be printed on special paper, will have the chamber logo imprinted on it and be sequentially numbered. If you have a questionable situation you can call the chamber office to verify the authenticity of the certificate.

 

12.        How does my business get reimbursed for Chamber Bucks spent at my business?

          The business accepting the Chamber Bucks certificate writes their name on the “Redeemable at” line on the check. Reimbursement will be paid upon presentation of the numbered certificate to the administrator at the chamber office – 111 W. Main during regular business hours.

 

13.        Why should people buy Chamber Bucks?

          Unlike traditional gift certificates, recipients of Chamber Bucks can choose where they would like to shop from the list of local RACC member businesses for whatever the recipient of this great gift desires.
